Post-Secondary Education Awards

Credit Union Foundation of British Columbia

The Credit Union Foundation of British Columbia is a philanthropic organization founded by British Columbia credit union members and funded by these members.

Incorporated in 1958, under the Society Act of British Columbia, the Foundation's primary purpose is to provide financial awards to BC post-secondary students in need of financial assistance for academic, technological or vocational training within BC. Grants are also given to mature students upgrading their basic education and skills to allow them to enter the work force.

GVC Credit Union has established the Pioneers Trust to help students in need. This is a memorial in honour of the pioneers who made a significant contribution to the community, GVC Credit Union and to the credit union movement.
