GVC Christmas Hamper Program


GVC’s Christmas Hamper Program has been in operation since 1987. The program functions on a volunteer basis, whereby staff members purchase food and small gifts for children with the funds raised from the calendar sales and donated by our members. Traditionally, these items are then boxed and delivered by staff to less fortunate families recommended to us by our members.

In light of COVID-19 our traditional hampers will unfortunately not be available however we are pleased to still extend a helping hand to those who need it most.

We take pride in the fact that over the past 33 years we have been able to deliver 1074 hampers to families in need. This is largely due to the generous donations from our members.

With the Christmas season upon us, we ask you to remember those less fortunate than yourself. This year, due to COVID-19 we are unable to accept donations of non-perishable food items and toys. Cash donations are gratefully accepted.
