The Youth Excellence Society

Every spring and summer, GVC Credit Union sponsors youths aged 14-18 years from our communities to attend camps hosted by the Youth Excellence Society (The YES).

The YES dates back over 20 years and is designed to help students improve their self-awareness, communication, cooperation and leadership skills.

Goalgetters Soccer School

GVC Credit Union is a proud sponsor of the Goalgetters Soccer School for boys and girls aged 5-18. This school, established in 1975, was the first soccer school sanctioned by the BC Soccer Association and has the most experience of any soccer camp in Canada.

The soccer camps, held during the summer months, feature one week of instruction by professional teachers and qualified coaches and have four different programs to suit any skill level.

Registration forms are usually available in May and can be picked up and dropped off at any branch of GVC Credit Union.

Little League Baseball

Since 1994, GVC Credit Union has been a proud sponsor of Little League Baseball organized by Little Mountain Baseball.

Little Mountain Baseball has several divisions available for children aged 5-12 years an include T-Ball, Mini-Minor, Minor, Major and Challenger. Hillcrest Park, home of Little Mountain Baseball for more than 50 years, is located just a short distance from our Vancouver Branch.
